River And Earth Adventures
The mission of River And Earth Adventures is to explore, have fun, educate, and feed our pets. Grant Seldomridge (water based program director) is a ACA (American Canoe Association) certified whitewater kayak instructor in addition to being a graduate of Appalachian State University's Recreation Management Program. Canoe rentals - float at your leisure to your vehicle waiting at the take out. Allow River and Earth Adventures to provide you with all the equipment including a Mohawk canoe, PFD, paddles, and a small cooler upon request. Guided canoe trips - one to two guides per group depending on size, will lead you down the river making stops to check out some river ecology. Allow River and Earth Adventures to provide all the equipment, lunch, as well as skilled and passionate guides. Trips are built around the groups' specific needs.

Riverside Canoe
Riverside Canoe in Crumpler, NC offers New River Canoeing in Northeastern Ashe County. With us you can Canoe on the south fork along the 26 mile section of the National Wild & Scenic New River. We offer canoe, kayak, tube and bike rentals. Our self guided New River paddling trips range from 2 hours to 8 hours or overnight. We also offer overnight guided trips. If you're not sure what trip to take, give us a call and we'll be happy to go over the details of each New River Canoeing trip with you.
